AP/AR Construction Accounting Associate
Overview: Handles both payables and receivables for construction operations, supports job cost accounting, project financial reporting, month end and year end closings. Fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process high volume vendor invoices in Vista
- Retainage and subcontractor payments
- Material suppliers
- Equipment rentals
- Code costs to projects and cost categories accurately
- Support subcontractor compliance
- W9 documentation for all vendors
Accounts Receivable
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile AR with general ledger
- Update weekly dashboards
General Accounting
- Support month-end close for various entities
- Maintain document records electronically through Vista and SharePoint
- Prepare AP and AR reports for management
- Reconcile AP & AR subledgers with general ledger
- 1099-year end preparation and filing for various entities
Qualifications
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years in AP/AR construction accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with construction ERP
- Understanding of construction job cost structure (retainage, lien waivers, progress billings)

Pay: $51,944.00 - $82,404.00 per year
