Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining high standards of classroom management and safety.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children with special education needs or developmental delays, including tailored activities for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and inform instructional strategies.
- Lead activities that foster childhood development in areas such as literacy, numeracy (including math), motor skills, and social skills through engaging tutoring and hands-on experiences.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, including literacy, math, and physical education.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a classroom setting.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
