We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting residents or goods to their destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans, shuttles.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers or freight at designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize routes.
Skills
- Experience in paratransit or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Proficient in operating various vehicles, including commercial trucks, dump trucks, tow trucks, and freight vehicles.
- Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Attention to detail when loading/unloading cargo and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential and required.
