Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host / Cashier to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with clear, courteous communication, providing accurate information about our services
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash register transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating adjustments to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and cashier station
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and provide exceptional guest experiences
