Wilson Brothers Plumbing Inc. is looking for a dependable, experienced New Construction Plumbing Project Manager to help oversee and coordinate new construction plumbing projects throughout East Tennessee.
This position is ideal for someone with strong plumbing knowledge, leadership ability, and the organization needed to keep jobs moving from rough-in through final completion. The right candidate will be comfortable working with builders, general contractors, inspectors, field crews, vendors, and the office team to make sure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Wilson Brothers Plumbing standards.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing daily project flow, coordinating jobsite needs, reviewing plans, supporting field crews, communicating with contractors, monitoring quality, and helping ensure each project stays on schedule.
This is not a desk-only position. The Project Manager should be comfortable visiting jobsites, checking work, solving problems in the field, and helping lead crews with professionalism and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee new construction plumbing project from start to finish
- Coordinate rough-ins, top-outs, trim-outs, finals, inspections, and project schedules
- Communicate with builders, general contractors , inspectors, suppliers, field employees, and office staff
- Review plans, specifications, project scopes, and jobsite requirements
- Help plan labor, materials, equipment, and scheduling needs for active projects
- Perform jobsite visits to inspect progress, verify quality, and identify potential issues
- Ensure work is begin completed according to code, project requirements, and company standards
- Support field crews by answering questions, solving problems, and keeping jobs moving
- Monitor project timelines and communicate delays, changes, or concerns promptly
- Help manage change orders, material needs, job documentation, and project updates
- Maintain a professional relationship with contractors, builders, customers, and team members
- Promote safe work practices and a clean, organized jobsite environment
- Hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive jobsite and respectful leadership style
Qualifications
- Plumbing experience required
- New construction plumbing experience strongly preferred
- Prior project management, jobsite lead, foreman, or crew leadership experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans, drawings, and scopes of work
- Strong ability to read and interpret plumbing plans, drawings and scopes of work
- Strong understanding of residential and/or light commercial plumbing systems
- Familiarity with inspections, code requirements, and construction schedules
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at once
- Professional attitude when working with builders, contractors, inspectors, and employees
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be dependable, organized, and willing to take ownership of assigned projects
