Spero Counseling Services is a private mental health practice who is committed to providing hope to families by supporting children, teens, adults, couples and families. Given the frequency with which we receive referrals, our practice is eager to hire additional counselors to accommodate these referrals.
We are currently seeking a counselor/therapist with specialization in play therapy. Registered Play Therapist or LPC/LMFT Associate working towards the RPT credential are encouraged to apply. The clientele of focus will be children, tweens and teens. Although there is flexibility in schedule, priority will be given to those who can work after school hours, ideally between 1-8pm.
This is a contract position, which allows the independence of a flexible schedule, yet with a team oriented environment with administrative support so you can focus solely on therapy, and more independence in your case load.
Duties:
This particular role would provide play therapy to children 4 and up and work with the pre-teen/teen population.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mental Health
- Completed graduate coursework in Play Therapy (or APT approved trainings)
- Current mental health license (Associates welcome)
Preferred Qualification:
· In the process of or completed Registered Play Therapy Certificate
