American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience and Epic proficiency, with night shift availability.

CVICU setting in a hospital environment with a 36-bed unit
-
Targeted patient ratio of 1:2
-
Works with telemetry monitoring, drips, and ventilators
-
Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
-
36- or 48-hour weekly contract options available
-
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
-
Travelers are first to float at the health system's discretion, within medically appropriate specialty clusters
-
Floating may include assignments across multiple campuses within a 15-mile radius of the main campus
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active OH RN license or compact RN license required (does not need to be in hand at signing)

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
-
Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience required
-
Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
-
Experience with A-lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs required

Must pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the assignment

Epic EMR experience required

Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Travel nursing experience preferred

Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Provide advanced cardiovascular critical care nursing to ICU patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and life-sustaining interventions

Navy blue scrubs required

RTO must be submitted with the initial application — no RTO will be added after an offer is extended, and approval is at the manager's discretion
