WASH Laundry is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our College & University business within a defined regional territory. This role is responsible for managing existing campus relationships while developing new opportunities in higher education laundry services.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently in the field, building long-term relationships, and balancing account management with new business development.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 anually based on qualifications and experience.
Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing College & University accounts within assigned region
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across campus housing and laundry programs
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets
- Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and support contract renewals
- Build relationships with campus housing, procurement, and auxiliary services teams
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and account reporting
- Partner with operations and service teams to support execution and customer satisfaction
- Attend regional industry events, campus visits, and select trade shows
- Travel within assigned territory (up to 70%)
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of outside sales, account management, or business development experience
- Experience managing or growing B2B accounts preferred
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups and senior-level decision makers
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience
- Background in higher education, campus services, housing, route-based service, or facilities-related industries
- Experience with RFP processes and contract renewals
