Seeking two days per week, Mon and Wed am from 8/8:30am to 12/12:30pm lady in 27612 area code with Hoyer LIft.

Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, reporting findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures following established protocols and maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities through personalized care plans and memory care techniques.
- Provide emotional support and effective communication to patients and their families, fostering a respectful and trusting environment.
- Assist with medical documentation, ensuring accuracy in medical records and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff, physicians, and therapists to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs across acute, long-term, or outpatient settings.
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care.
- Skilled in vital signs measurement, medication administration, catheter care, and infection control practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices; experience with manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts preferred.
- Critical care experience including ICU or trauma center background is highly valued; familiarity with emergency medicine or urgent care environments is advantageous.
- Strong caregiver communication skills combined with compassionate bedside manner; experience working within hospital medicine or post-acute care settings is desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
