Looking for a part-time job that keeps you active and helps you earn extra income? We’re hiring trash collectors to support apartment communities by collecting trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps and transporting it to the on-site compactor using your truck or trailer.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during evening hours
We have multiple positions available in Cary and Raleigh.
What You’ll Do
- Collect trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps within an apartment community
- Transport waste to the on-site compactor using your truck or trailer
- Use our mobile app to log arrivals, departures, service activity, and photos
- Walk the property and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: Pick Up Truck or Trailer Only- $20 an hour (Approximately $800–$1,200 per month before taxes)
- Schedule: Sunday–Thursday evenings, starting around 7:00–8:00 PM (2-3 Hours per night)
- Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Close-to-home assignments: We aim to place you within 20 mins of your home
What We’re Looking For
- Candidates that live in Cary or Raleigh
- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation (open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with trailer required)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Smartphone with a data plan to use our mobile app
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Walk long distances and climb stairs multiple times per shift
- Comfortable working around bagged trash and waste
- Able to work outdoors in all types of weather
