About the Role
As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical partner in ensuring operational excellence by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex robotic and automated production systems. You will play a vital role in maximizing equipment uptime and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities-
Execute rapid response troubleshooting to minimize production downtime and maintain high equipment availability.

Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and system repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

Manage complex changeover processes and equipment startups to ensure seamless production transitions.

Program, calibrate, and optimize industrial robots, vision systems, and PLC-based control architectures.

Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately within the CMMS to track system health and reliability.

Collaborate with engineering teams to refine system designs and improve long-term equipment performance.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling protocols.

3+ years of hands-on experience in automated machine repair and industrial maintenance.

Strong proficiency in troubleshooting PLC ladder logic, HMI interfaces, and servo drive systems.

Demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, pneumatic prints, and technical blueprints.

Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and precision assembly fixtures.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.

Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent journeyman-level certification.

Advanced experience with ABB robotics and vision system calibration.

Knowledge of GD&T standards and precision metrology instrumentation.

Proven track record in complex system integration and process optimization.
