Position Summary:
Join B. Braun Medical Inc. as a Product Engineer supporting a growing B2B MedTech and Pharma portfolio at our Allentown, PA location. In this hands-on, early-career role, you’ll collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to develop medical device solutions—from concept through production and lifecycle support. You’ll help translate customer needs into designs, contribute to prototyping and testing, and gain exposure to cross-functional teams and real-world engineering challenges.
Operating within a regulated medical device environment, you will gain hands-on experience applying frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (including Design Controls under Part 30), ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 to ensure compliant and reliable outcomes.
Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials, or Chemical), 2–3 years of experience, CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred), and strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies.
- Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
- Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
- Designs and drafts blueprints with designer, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
- Must be SME in field at higher levels of job.
- Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.

- Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
- Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training , assigning and checking the work of lower level employees. Referring only complex problems and issues
- Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. Engineering)
- 2+ years related experience in engineering field and regulated environment.
Domestic travel with the remote possibility of International travel.

Salary Range: $76,600 - $86,600
