Per Diem Neonatologist position in Gainesville, FL!
Responsibilities:
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for per diem coverage at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, autonomous environment with a supportive team and a hospital committed to expanding its Women’s & Children’s services.

Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel

Comprehensive Coverage:
-
25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
-
36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 15)
-
~3,500 annual deliveries
-
Accepts all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
-
Advanced Services: Body cooling, oscillators, and RN/RT-staffed regional transport team.

Collaborative Team: Work with a cohesive group of experienced NNPs and supportive OB hospitalists, MFM, and subspecialty telehealth providers.

Specific dates needed: July 4-6, 11-12; August 9-11, 18-19, 31; September 1, 6-9; additional shifts available ongoing after

North Florida Hospital: a 523-bed full-service HCA facility

Modern NICU: Beautiful, state-of-the-art NICU opened in 2021

Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required

Active IMLC or active FL license required
