We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cell Therapy Processing Specialist/Technician with cord tissue experience to join our innovative Beverly Hills-based clinic. This role is integral to the production of advanced cell therapies, requiring a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess laboratory experience, familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, and hands-on skills in manufacturing processes related to cell therapy products. Duties
- Operate and maintain complex equipment used in cell processing, including bioreactors, centrifuges, and sterile filling systems.
- Prepare and handle materials with precision, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and documentation in accordance with CGMP regulations.
- Execute manufacturing procedures for cell therapy products, adhering strictly to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products for distribution while maintaining traceability and compliance standards.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as sample collection, testing, and data recording to support process validation and quality assurance.
- Handle materials efficiently within warehouse environments, including inventory management and materials handling using forklifts when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in lean manufacturing activities aimed at optimizing workflows and reducing waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with all safety and sanitation protocols essential for sterile manufacturing environments.
Experience
- *Must have Umbilical Cord Tissue experience*
- Prior laboratory experience or manufacturing background within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations governing cell therapy production is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with packaging processes and materials handling techniques in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Background in machining or working with specialized equipment can be beneficial for troubleshooting technical issues.
