What to Expect
The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents to a web-based database. Compare data entered with source documents, corrects entered data if necessary. May compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered. Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and managing outbound/inbound shipments and supporting operations in a material handler capacity as needed.
What You'll Do-
Entry of data into web-based database program in compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all designated data entry and paperwork

Identify discrepant data both in writing and verbally to supervisor. Filing, copying, and other general clerical duties as necessary

Utilize TMS, MFS, and Warp and be able to verify, create, and reject shipments systematically. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Manage inbound/outbound shipments

Interact/communicate effectively with operations team and 3rd party drivers

Ensure all aspects of shipments are DOT compliant

Support operations in a material handler capacity as needed. Attend trainings and learn new systems/tools to aid job performance

Support auditing activities for trailers / finished goods / yard support inventory of other teams
