True Shine is hiring for a House Cleaner position. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in residential, Airbnb, and commercial spaces. We’re seeking individuals with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Valid work authorization (SSN).
- Own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- Easy access to Gloucester and Cape Ann Area.
- English and Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
- Must follow company rules and guidelines (provided during training).
- Must pass a background check.
Duties
- Perform detailed cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle laundry duties (washing, drying, folding, organizing).
- Keep assigned spaces tidy and well-organized.
- Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms according to high standards.
- Provide commercial cleaning services as needed (e.g. offices).
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report any equipment issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service and follow client preferences.
- Work with the management team to ensure quality, including for Airbnb properties.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to sanitize surfaces effectively and safely.
- Familiarity with both residential and commercial cleaning practices.
- Experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related work is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous hotel or home cleaning experience is a strong advantage.
