Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Handle food ingredients with proper food handling techniques to ensure freshness and safety
- Support kitchen team members by executing tasks such as chopping, plating, and garnishing to uphold high standards of presentation
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably with fine dining or restaurant experience
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food industry standards
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and food handling
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes
- Commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment
