Job Summary
Erie First Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this vital role, the successful candidate will create a classroom environment that promotes biblical values, early childhood development, literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional growth while fostering a love of learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Conduct formative and summative student assessments to monitor progress, analyze student performance data, and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education/Certification or licensure in early childhood education or elementary teaching
- Experience working with young children.
- Good communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
Spiritual Expectations:
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regular attendance at a local Christian church
- Agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct
Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
