Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality

- Assist with menu planning and portion control to optimize food production and minimize waste
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering settings
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen team members
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus
