Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on the campus building envelope to ensure the integrity and longevity of facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing roofing systems such as single-ply, built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, metal, slate, and shingle roofs, as well as gutters and downspouts. The role also requires knowledge of above- and below-grade waterproofing systems, including control joints, window resealing, and repairing or replacing waterproofing membranes using appropriate materials and techniques. In addition, the position may perform general carpentry tasks as needed to support building envelope maintenance and repair.
