Springdale Village, LLC a premier owner/operator of apartment community located in Hamburg, NJ is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine grounds and building maintenance, as well as fulfilling all repair service requests for residents and apartments make-ready orders. Embracing the Springdale Village philosophy, you will exhibit excellent customer service skills; treating our residents with dignity, respect, and a desire to provide the highest standard of quality and comfort in their homes. This is work hard, play hard position that pays according to performance. The person is given great independence and responsibility. High performing people will do very well. Non smoker required.
Responsibilities:
- Grounds maintenance, snow removal, trash removal and cleaning
- Institute and manage resident service requests and work orders, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible
- Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting, minor tile work, carpentry, HVAC repairs.
- Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in building maintenance
- Must be able to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, drywall repair.
- Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items
- HVAC experience preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
