American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and rotating day/night shifts.

Work in the HVTI Step-Down unit of a large academic hospital
-
Rotating day and night shifts: days 7:00am–7:30pm and nights 7:00pm–7:30am

Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week

Floating may be required to other units caring for the same patient population

Holiday coverage required, with a minimum of every other holiday worked

Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down or a related specialty

At least 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required (travel experience accepted)

PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation, and a passing score on both is required

Assignments at this health system are limited to 18 consecutive months, after which a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any location within the same health system
