Saw Operator Job Summary:
A leading manufacturer of foam seating products and medical mattresses is looking for a dependable Saw Operator to join their growing team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with measurements, solving problems, and operating equipment in a manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for cutting foam blocks to precise customer specifications while maximizing material yield through accurate calculations and efficient cutting techniques.
Saw Operator Responsibilities:
- Working with a block of foam and cutting the foam to customer specifications
- Using math and measuring this operator will maximize the cuts and yield for orders
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to load and unload foam
Saw Operator Qualifications:
- Must be able to use a tape measure
- Reliable and excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to look at work instructions and use calculations to maximize the yield from a foam block
- Mechanical mind and a builder-carpenter mindset
