Job Description
The Yellow Company is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician to service recurring commercial accounts throughout the Toledo and Sylvania area.
This position is ideal for someone looking for steady part-time evening and weekend work. Several of our commercial locations are located very close to one another, allowing for efficient back-to-back cleaning routes.
You will be responsible for maintaining professional offices, commercial facilities, restrooms, and common areas according to site-specific cleaning checklists.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Emptying trash and replacing liners
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Sweeping and mopping hard floors
- Cleaning glass, mirrors, doors, and touchpoints
- Cleaning sinks, counters, fixtures, and common areas
- Maintaining a consistent cleaning standard at recurring locations
- Completing assigned cleaning checklists
- Reporting any facility issues or supply needs
Typical Schedule
Applicants should have reliable availability for:
- Wednesday evenings
- Friday evenings
- Saturday and/or Sunday
- Some later-night cleaning shifts
Some Wednesday work may begin after 3:30 PM, with another account beginning after 9:00 PM. Friday routes may begin after 3:30 PM and continue into the evening. Weekend accounts offer more flexible cleaning windows.

- Able to move between multiple nearby commercial locations
- Able to perform physical cleaning duties, including bending, reaching, vacuuming, and mopping
- Commercial or residential cleaning experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person
