American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) travel position in Aiken, SC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active SC or compact RN licensure.

Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) unit in an acute care hospital setting

13-week contract with 36 hours per week

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Active SC or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a US hospital required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired

US Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including a full review of systems, with appropriate documentation

Delivers age-appropriate care across the lifespan by applying knowledge of growth and development

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
