Position Title: Technology Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary: The Technology Infrastructure Specialist is a versatile role responsible for managing the company’s network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, and overall, Company's technology systems. This position ensures the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of the IT environment, while also providing support and training to HGC employees as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against threats.
2. Systems/Cloud Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (both physical and virtual) to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer cloud services and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Perform regular maintenance and patching of hardware and software to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
3. Support and Training:
- Assist the helpdesk team with technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Provide training and documentation to helpdesk staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure cohesive and efficient IT operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- Proven experience in network administration, systems administration, and cloud services management.
- Experience with network hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HPE).
- Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI).

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
