About the Role
As a Metal Melting Technician, you will play a critical role in our production process by managing furnace operations and ensuring a steady supply of molten metal for die casting. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment efficiency and upholding high safety standards to support our manufacturing output.
Responsibilities-
Operate industrial furnaces to melt aluminum ingots and scrap, ensuring precise temperature regulation.

Manage the distribution of molten metal to die cast machines to prevent production downtime.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on furnace linings, ladles, and related equipment.

Assist in the setup of die casting cells, including robotic systems, trim presses, and spray equipment.

Execute material handling tasks safely using power equipment to support continuous plant operations.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift with a valid license.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks in a demanding industrial setting.

Prior experience in a die cast production environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of furnace maintenance, skimming, and fluxing procedures.

Ability to interpret technical instructions and troubleshoot mechanical irregularities.

Technical certification or specialized training in industrial machinery.
