Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support children’s physical, emotional, and social development through engaging activities and positive interactions
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and outdoor play
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and needs
- Support behavior management strategies to foster respectful and cooperative behavior among children
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is highly desirable
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus
- Classroom experience including activity planning and classroom management is beneficial
- Certifications such as first aid or CPR are advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
