We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Catering Breakfast Cook/Preparer to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble breakfast dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients properly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by adhering to cleaning schedules and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including slicing, chopping, and portioning using proper knife skills.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and supporting team efforts.
- Prior restaurant or catering experience is a plus; a passion for culinary arts is essential.
