Fence Installer

About the Position
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Fence Installer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with their hands, and learning a skilled trade.
You will work alongside an experienced installation team to build and install high-quality fences and gates for residential and commercial customers. No extensive fencing experience is required for the right candidate—we are willing to train someone who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.
As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills beyond traditional fencing and learn about automatic gates, gate operators, access control systems, and related technology. This position offers the chance to develop a valuable skill set and grow into a long-term career in the fencing and automatic gate industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and commercial fence installations
- Install wood, aluminum, vinyl, chain link, and other fencing systems
- Help measure and lay out fence lines and post locations
- Dig post holes and install fence posts
- Install fence panels, pickets, rails, gates, and hardware
- Learn proper techniques for setting posts, aligning fence lines, and completing quality installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
- Communicate respectfully with customers and clients while on job sites
- Learn to identify and resolve basic installation challenges
- Assist experienced installers with more advanced projects
- Learn the installation and service of automatic gate operators and access control systems

Qualifications
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Previous construction, landscaping, fencing, or trade experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to perform physically demanding work and lift materials
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools or willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
