We are seeking an experienced and motivated Child Care Center Director who is passionate about leadership, team development, family engagement, and enrollment growth.

Position Summary
The Child Care Center Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of center operations, including staffing, enrollment, licensing compliance, parent relations, curriculum oversight, and daily center management. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who can build a positive team culture, maintain high-quality standards, and support continued enrollment growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the childcare center
- Ensure compliance with all Florida licensing regulations and safety standards
- Maintain proper classroom ratios and staffing requirements
- Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate staff
- Conduct parent tours and enrollment meetings
- Support enrollment growth and family retention efforts
- Manage School Readiness (SR) and VPK program requirements
- Maintain student and staff records
- Prepare for licensing inspections and monitoring visits
- Address parent concerns professionally and effectively
- Monitor classroom quality, curriculum implementation, and learning environments
- Coordinate staff schedules and center coverage
- Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
- Lead parent tours and convert prospective families into enrollments
Required Qualifications
- Florida Director Credential
- Minimum 3 years of childcare leadership, assistant director, or center management experience
- Experience supervising staff in a licensed childcare center
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Florida childcare licensing regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Experience with School Readiness (SR)
- Experience with VPK programs
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience conducting tours and increasing enrollment
- Experience preparing for licensing inspections
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience
