Construction Worker
Mid-State Construction Company specializes in site work (Clearing, grading, excavation, rock removal, water and storm water pipework, pump stations, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, etc.) and is looking to hire dependable, hard-working construction laborers immediately. Excellent Pay. EOE.
Duties:
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Assists with operation of a variety of types of heavy equipment with precision and safety
- Assists with preventative maintenance on equipment (i.e., excavator, dozer, skid steer, front end loader).
- Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of the Company.
- Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 years’ experience with site construction, preferred
- Proficient knowledge of day-to-day site construction operations, preferred
- Working knowledge of operation and maintenance of excavators, loaders, dozers, rollers, skid steers, etc, preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work from an engineered survey at the direction of supervisor.
- Must be familiar with civil plans, and plan layouts
Starting compensation is based upon experience and abilities.

Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour
