We have an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Radar Systems Engineer providing Engineering Support as a member of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program in Space Systems Command (SSC), System Delta 85 (SYD 85).
SYD 85 is the U.S. Space Force organization responsible for developing and delivering resilient space capabilities supporting Battle Management, Command, Control, Communication, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I). SYD 85 synchronizes acquisition efforts for critical space system capabilities and works together with Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Deltas to improve mission readiness.
SYD 85 contains three System Program Directors (SPDs), formerly known as Senior Materiel Leaders, corresponding to Battlespace Awareness (BA), Battle Management (BM), and Space Access & Networked Services (BN). The DARC program is under Battlespace Awareness, Ground Sensors (SSC SYD85/BAS).
Odyssey Systems provides support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF CFC depot and development contractors and with BMC3I stakeholders.
This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road with occasional work at Peterson SFB and Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO and the opportunity to telework 1 to 2 days per week at the discretion of the Government.
