Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in Cars Sales and on the road to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Build lasting client relationships through excellent customer service, active listening, and personalized solutions.
- Conduct route driving efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain product features, pricing options, and upselling opportunities effectively.
- Manage merchandising tasks such as product placement, inventory checks, and promotional displays to maximize sales potential.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling merchandise or transporting automobiles, following safe lifting practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and route schedules to ensure organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; automotive transportation or commercial truck driving experience is a plus.
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, basic accounting, and understanding profit margins.
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles safely while complying with DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, upselling, and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail store operations preferred.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform safe lifting practices regularly.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple routes, appointments, and client communications effectively.
