Job Summary:
An Automotive Sales Associate assists customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles that meet their needs and budget. This role involves building customer relationships, demonstrating vehicle features, conducting test drives, negotiating sales, and ensuring a positive buying experience while meeting dealership sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers visiting the dealership.
- Identify customer needs, preferences, and budget requirements.
- Present and explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and competitor offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Follow up with leads generated through phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Negotiate vehicle pricing and sales terms within dealership guidelines.
- Coordinate with finance and insurance departments to complete sales transactions.
- Complete sales documentation accurately and promptly.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Participate in training programs and sales meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Basic computer and CRM software proficiency.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $45,559.95 - $200,000.00 per year
