Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Extrusion Tool Room Technician to manage our extrusion tooling and auxiliary equipment. You will play a critical role in our production line efficiency by inspecting, maintaining and cleaning dies, jigs, and fixtures. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and works collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to ensure changeovers are seamless and equipment runs at peak performance.
Tooling Maintenance
- Inspect, clean, and keep organized extrusion dies, calibrators, and auxiliary equipment.
- Observe damaged, or defective tooling and report issues to Engineering.
- Assemble and disassemble tooling components with precision.
Tool Room Management & Inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and organize storage of all dies, spare parts, and tooling components.
- Ensure tooling is prepped, staged, and ready for upcoming production changeovers to minimize equipment downtime.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
