In this energetic role, your culinary expertise will help ensure that each plate meets our standards of excellence, all while maintaining a lively and positive kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with meal preparation for various service periods, including brunch, dinner and late night
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold food safety regulations
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling including slicing methods
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
- Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to recipes, portion control, and quality standards
