We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system and OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest needs throughout their visit, addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with detailed knowledge of food handling and preparation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of toast POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during busy service periods
- Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances ability to answer guest questions confidently
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Experience with host/hostess duties or bussing can be an asset in supporting overall restaurant operations
