American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an adult Emergency Department night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MA RN license.

Work in a 65-bed, pod-based adult Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and dedicated Acute Mental Health area
-
Patient population includes all acuity levels with a census of approximately 230 visits per day
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4

Required skills include assessment, documentation, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education

Night shift: 19:00–07:30 (36 hrs/week)

Floating required

Occasional rotation to day shifts (7a–7p, 11a–11p, and 7p–7a) when requested, though rotation frequency is low for this night position

Every other weekend (EOW) required

EMR: Epic (ASAP module)

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required

Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and PALS

TNCC and NRP certifications strongly preferred

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

2 professional references required for consideration

All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) — no exceptions for this facility
