Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sweeper Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized sweeping equipment to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Duties:
- Safely operate sweeper trucks & Water Trucks
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance; perform basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed
- Follow detailed route plans to efficiently cover assigned areas while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and route completion reports
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational updates or issues encountered during shift
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license (Class A or B) required
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, including sweepers
- Ability to perform manual lifting safely for debris collection or equipment handling
- Strong understanding of load & unload procedures for different truck configurations
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and roadwork environments
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on sweeping machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols diligently during equipment operation

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
