Job Title: Cat Care & Facility Assistant (Overnight, Part-Time – Venice/Marina Del Rey)

Essential Skills Required
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

● Attention to detail in cleaning, prepping, and documenting tasks
● Clear, calm communication in unexpected or emergency situations
● Good judgment when observing animal behavior or safety concerns
● Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, squat
Core Responsibilities
Safety & Security
● Be the on-site overnight presence for safety and emergency readiness ● Perform hourly walkthroughs to ensure all cats are secure and comfortable
● Monitor for any unusual activity and follow emergency procedures if needed
Cleaning & Facility Prep
● Assist with end-of-day tasks: litter boxes, dishes, laundry, and floors ● Restock supplies and help prep the space for the morning team ● Ensure the environment is clean, odor-free, and guest-ready
Animal Care
● Observe cat behavior and flag any health concerns
● Refill water and check litter box access overnight
● Offer calm companionship without overstimulating the cats
Who We’re Looking For
● Responsible and detail-oriented
● Comfortable working independently overnight
● Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
● Able to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, squat, and be on your feet as needed ● Must be 18 or older
Bonus if you have:
● Experience with cats or animal care
● CPR or first aid certification
● Janitorial or cleaning experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
