Responsibilities
- Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and passing tools or supplies
- Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision, including removal of debris and old fixtures
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate protective gear at all times
- Help set up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures for ongoing work
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized job site to promote safety and productivity
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites; flexibility to work various shifts as needed
