Oceanport pharmacy is a family owned independent pharmacy that has been serving the community for over 20 years.
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
· Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
· Process prescriptions and insurances using computer software
· Label and record dosage information
· Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
· Sell prescriptions and other over the counter items to patients
· Assist pharmacist with immunizations and clinics
· Working with medical practices to assist in prior authorizations and MTMs
· Delivery of medications
Qualifications:
· Highschool diploma or higher education
· Driver’s License
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills
· Highly proficient in computer skills
· Proficient in English language
· Pharmacy experience is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
