Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and toileting
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary using positive behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a supportive and inclusive environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving, nannying, or working in a classroom setting preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is required
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in childcare or early childhood education is a plus
