Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, ensuring that every cup served meets our high standards of quality. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café, providing excellent service while preparing a variety of beverages and food items.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.
- Utilize time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and handling practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers in a retail environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
