Barista – Mr. D’s Coffee
About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team! You’ll be the face of Mr. D’s Coffee — serving great coffee, delicious donuts, and genuine smiles. If you love creating a welcoming environment and enjoy working with people, this is the job for you.
This job will be for our new downtown location, and the training will be held at our Lenexa, KS location.
What You’ll Do:
- Craft and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and deliver a warm, positive experience every time
- Operate the register accurately and handle payments responsibly
- Keep the coffee bar, prep area, and dining space clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Help prepare light food items, pastries, and snacks
- Restock and manage inventory as needed
- Work closely with teammates to keep things running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous café or food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy hours
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Open to working early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
