High tech, state of the art interventional pain management/rehabilitation practice is looking for a reliable and empathetic individual who is fluent in Russian and English to serve as a vital link between our providers and patients. This hybrid role involves medical assisting, real-time documentation (scribe duties), and acting as a patient liaison to help ensure smooth communication and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and medical procedures
- Accurately document patient history, physical exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real time
- Translate medical information between patients and providers in both English and Russian
- Provide clear and compassionate explanations of care plans, prescriptions, and medical instructions
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Support front office duties as needed (phone calls, intake, insurance verification, etc.)
Qualifications
- Fluency in Russian and English (spoken and written) is required
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or Scribe preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent training/certification preferred, but not required
