We are a private automotive shop dedicated to efficient operations. We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and focus on vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
Job Summary:
As an Automotive Technician, you will handle all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance. We are looking for a punctual, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a commitment to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently diagnose, repair, and service a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Perform tasks ranging from basic vehicle maintenance to complex mechanical, electrical, and cooling system repairs, including engine overhauls and timing chains.
- Check fluids and maintenance related parts; top-off or replace fluids, filters, and components as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs and potential issues.
- Advise on additional repairs or services that may be needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience.
- Honest, hardworking, and self-driven.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Experience with Alldata, Identifix, and Autologic preferred.
- Must have your own tools (specialty tools, scanners, and heavy shop equipment will be provided).
