Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Duties
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and educational standards across literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and functional skills.
- Lead classroom activities that promote active participation, critical thinking, and positive behavior management.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs, including those with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on curriculum development, classroom management, behavioral therapy techniques, and inclusive practices.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Integrate speech therapy techniques and behavioral health strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior reports, and communication logs while ensuring compliance with educational policies and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in early childhood education or special education settings with classroom management expertise.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavioral health interventions.
- Familiarity with IEP development, speech therapy techniques, behavioral therapy strategies, and working with individuals with autism or other disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, therapists, and external service providers.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori or preschool methodologies when applicable.
- Experience working in private schools or similar educational environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor staff while fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social-emotional growth.
- Certification or training in behavioral management or early intervention is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
