We are seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician/Entry Level Dental Assistant to join our SMILE CARE RAYTOWN Dental Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for our patients and staff. This position involves the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of dental instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper functioning through routine checks.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment usage.
- Assist in the inventory management of dental supplies and materials.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dental staff to prepare instruments for various procedures
- Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in sterilization techniques.

Requirements
- Previous experience in dental assisting or as a sterilization technician is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team environment.
- Have availability to work during office hours Monday-Friday. Some Evenings and half day Saturday's are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
